Humanitarian Aid Distributed Among Flood- and Landslide-Affected Families in Cox’s Bazar

Community Initiative Society (CIS), with financial support from the Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD), has distributed humanitarian assistance among families affected by floods and landslides in Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila.
As part of the relief programme, food items were distributed among 150 vulnerable families, while 100 families received essential materials to repair their damaged houses.
An Emergency Health Camp was also organized to provide free medical services and essential medicines to people affected by the disasters. The health camp provided free medicines, water purification tablets, and oral saline to vulnerable and disaster-affected residents.

The initiative aimed to support disaster-affected families in meeting their immediate food, shelter, and healthcare needs and to help vulnerable communities recover from the impacts of the recent floods and landslides.
